#9
That is.
I get
the most
odd-ball ideas
for necklaces.
I took a tiny bottle
Made it scuzzy inside
on purpose.
Not like the
vintage perfume
Made a vintage looking label.
And...
that's as far as I got with
Love Potion #9.
Tomorrow is another day.
Ooooh. That sounds like
the title of a romance novel.
Tomorrow
IS
Another Day!
(With Fabio's hair blowing in the breeze)
oops - back to the task at hand.

This is just a little pile of things
I put together to take pictures of.
I went to another felting class last night.
We made these.
We wet felted wool balls
and made bracelets.
There's just no way
to put a bunch of middle-aged women
in a room with warm soapy water
making felt balls
and keep the conversation
quiet and reserved.
Nope.
Not happening.
And that's all
I'm going to say
about that.
This is my favorite.
I needle felted this
when I had my wisdom tooth out.
I guess the logic there was
since I was already in pain
stabbing myself with sharp and pointy objects
couldn't feel that bad, now could it?
I put a pretty Czech bead at the top.
I beaded an impromptu design
on the body of the heart.
Don't you just love the word
impromptu?
It means,
"I have no clue what I'm doing."
Impromptu.
Impromptu.
New word of the day.
Used in a sentence.
You're welcome.
Don't forget about the giveaway.

Kathy... I love everything you do.
I have got to tell you something funny. Mr. Magpie got the box from you, and he called and said, what on earth is this??? And I said, my Valentine present from you??? And he said, well what is it??? And I said, ruby slippers on a necklance. And he said, WHAT??? It's a wee bit hard to explain. Anyhow, he was very pleased once he realized what I was describing and once he realized I had bought my own gift. Now, he doesn't have to go out and hunt, and I'm a happy camper! PERFECTO!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Great ideas. Very interesting bracelet! Love the purple heart!
I am in love with your little bottle, How adorable is that!!
The beads are very one of a kind too, I have a metal allergy and they are the perfect solution.
You had me at 'wet felted wool balls' because deep down I am still 9 years old. Coincidentally, today I have a list of impromptu things to do. :-)
Funny that you would mention a tooth extraction . . . I've got one scheduled for tomorrow!!! Your analogy of being stabbed in the finger with a needle struck home in a big way!!! Kathy, I love your purple heart and that little bottle pendant is adorable!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
Wow, I absolutely adore that little bottle!!
You have the coolest ideas! Love visiting your blog. 'hugs from afar'
Kathy, I'm back to tell you I can't get that song out of my head. LOL!
Luv Potion # 9!

Sheila :-)
