Fortuitous Circumstance

My daughter says I'm not posting enough.
I have my reasons.
I've been BUSY!
With what you ask?
Well, here's what:

I have an English friend who can talk me into anything.
She talked me into doing a craft show.
I swore years ago after doing one
that I would NEVER do another one.

Yet...here I am.
Again.
At least I'm not making
stuffed, dressed rabbits.
Remember those?
I'm making some tags.
Quite a few actually.

I also made this.
It was inspired
by
something I saw
at the flea market.

Speaking of the flea market
Guess what's this weekend!

These are gorgeous, Kathy! You're inspiring me, now! I've got to do a craft fair in Dec., and I was wondering what else I should do...this may be just the thing!

Hope this first day of October is wonderful for you!

I wish I could be there. Maybe I can, where is it? I've got nothing pressing for a the next couple of days.

And I would love to see some of your solder work in person. Hope you sell a TON. The tags are gorgeous -- don't know how you can part with them but I'm sure they'll go to a good home.

You are so talented!

I enjoyed seeing these goodies. I hope you sell lots and lots at your show. They are adorable.

I'm checking in from exile to say I miss you and hope to be blogging again soon, maybe next week. Mr. Magpie is on the mend, and I am a happy (and freer) bird. Now, I just have to clean the HUGE mess that is our house. LOL!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Maybe this time around, you'll find more enjoyment in it?.....At the very least, sit back after working so busily...and let people come to you....relish the ooooh's and aaaaah's that will no doubt be uttered....and graciously accept the bills thrust at you as appreciative hands choose which of your works they must absolutely have!!!...heehee!

Something like that anyway :)I don't need to wish you luck....your creations are gorgeous! I know you'll do great :)

Wonderful wonderful tags! And your soldered necklace turned out beautifully. I just ordered materials for a class with Sally Jean Alexander today and I feel about like you do. The first time, I was miserable. The second time, I started a small fire on the container of my solder. That's the extent. I wonder what Sally Jean will think...

Love that box, too!
