Mary Had A Little Lamb

Whose fleece was pink, blue, aqua, and with some crazy
Bob Marley dreadlocks gettin' down with their bad selves.

"Huh?"
"What are you talking about Dear Kathy?" you might ask.
What I'm talking about is wool.
In many colors.
Even dyed to match the Dawn dish soap I thought
I had so carefully cropped out of this photo.
Oh well, I've always been partial to that color of blue.
Needle felting.
I've been learning how to needle felt.
Again, you might say,
"But Kathy, haven't you learned by now
to steer clear of sharp and painful objects?"
Nonsense.
Me and my beloved band-aids
 have become quite close
as of late.
I made this.
It wasn't hard.
It was a one band-aid craft.
This one needs more beads.
It was a no band-aid one.
I'm getting better.
On Monday we're going to make an
adorable Christmas angel.
I should be all healed up by then!
And this?
It's a blank canvas.
It's the letter I - or at least it will be.
I'm supposed to be making that
for my English friend's church.
It's due next weekend.
I work well under pressure.
After all,
Danger
is
my middle name.
Well, actually, it's Marie
but that doesn't have
the same
'Je ne sais quoi'
now does it?
