It's FUN To Have Fun

But you have to know how!
One of my favorite Dr. Seuss quotes.
I use it a lot.

Like yesterday.
When I sat in front of a computer
at work
for
FOUR AND A HALF HOURS
with two IT guys on the phone
trying to figure out how the entire
76 Gig hard drive
became full of - well -
Like the radio friendly version of the
 Cee-Lo Green song says
shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......

But that's not the reason for this post.
THIS
is fun.
I borrowed it shamelessly from Roisin

"To play all you have to do is grab the closest book you have on hand, open to page 56 and post the 5th sentence either to your own blog or in the comments below. Don’t say what book it is or anything and let me and whoever else wants to play guess."
My book had this sentence:

"I longed for artificial bacon bits, melted cheese in a shade of yellow unknown to nature, creamy and chocolate fillings, sometimes all in the same product."

Add your 5th sentence from page 56 to the blog comments.
It'll be fun to see.

And for more fun, check out my daughter's blog today.
It's called Harpooning Electric Jellyfish.  She's pretty funny.

Frank lives next to the builtin book shelves.
He can't figure out why I'm hovering over him
opening up books to page 56.
Frank likes to read when there's nothing good
on the television.

Today was good.
Today was fun.
Tomorrow is another one!
(I have NO idea why I'm channeling Dr. Seuss today)

I'll play. My sentence goes perfectly with yours Kath! "I have certain specific dietary needs." LOL!

Well Kathy you never fail to crack me up! Your just a wee bit late on the Dr. Seuss tribute but Im sure no one will notice as the good doctor deserves an entire month. I think March 2 is the official day.
So when are you flying out? Lots of sun here.
p.s.Frank is really cute.

OK, but only because I really like this book (and I don't have to get up or anything to get it): "After a quick rinse under the faucet, the two good eggs floated to the top, with their glistening orange yolks." (Do we only read books with food references or what?)

Yippee! It is fun, isn't it? I've even less of an idea about your one here than the one you used yesterday, can't even hazard a guess. For this one or the other's in the comments! They all made me hungry though :) I'm just going to use the same one again since it's still the closest book to me:

"True to his word, Miller eschewed a drink, but he appeared happy enough surrounded by the high spirited pub-goers."
