I Hate - NO - I HEART Winter!

Borrowing from Jimmy Buffett's song
Breathe In Breathe Out, Move On

And it snowed
It was nothing really new.
And it blew...
We'd seen all that before

But we had never seen anything like this!
We had an all out blizzard.
We had 50 mile an hour winds.
We had thunder snow.
We had it all,  baby!
And we woke up to see this sight:

There's a truck behind that snow.
And it's a BIG truck!

Things to be thankful for:
I have a friend and co-worker
whose husband owns a truck
with
a snow plow.
I am extremely thankful
for them!
I am thankful that he showed up.
I am thankful that my husband
 made it home from work
all safe and sound.
I am thankful that the storm is over.

I just LOVE winter.
And if you believe that
let me just say
It's a good thing
you can't read my lips.

I don't even like to visit it for a day...that's about how long it lingers in the mountains here in sunny southern Ca, but when my hubby proposes taking our girl up to see it and play a little...

I tell him I'll stay in the car...with about 4 layers on...and a blanket...and a warm drink!

I'm such a wimp! Those pics make me shudder, Kathy....I'd be mouthing those words along with ya :)

I supersized your photos to take it all in. Er, is that a turtle hanging from the cute metal chair in pic 2? If so, could you step outside and set him free? He must have blown in with the storm.

Yikes!

You are going to hate me, but it is in the seventies here. But it's raining.

Sheila

Thanks for visiting and do keep warm and safe. Great pictures! I know you will think I am crazy, but I missed not having snow in the Willamette Valley this winter. My husband calls it "ornamental snow" - pretty but nothing to have to deal with. Take care, M.

Oh, beautiful, but I'm sure you've seen enough to last quite a while!

I might have moaned about our snow when it was here but I really miss it now the rain's returned! I suppose I'd remember why I moaned so much if it came back again tommorow ;) How goes it now anyway? Are you still several foot deep?
