My Husband's Birthday Giveaway

So, I'm in the kitchen messing around with egg dye
Again.
Thinking about a blog post
and
my husband's birthday
next week.
And I think about starting with:
HEY KIDS!
DO YOU KNOW
WHAT TIME IT IS?
Done that.
How about,
RIBBON TO DYE FOR!?

Naw.
Repurposed from the
Christmas Tree Dye episode.
So,
I'm cutting this vintage ribbon
that I bought last summer.
 Thinking about a blog post.
Thinking about all of you
nice folks out there in
Blogville.
Thinking that I never dreamed
anyone would ever read
my crazy, schizophrenic ramblings.
...and
I wanted to do something
as a
thank you.

Then
OUT OF THE BLUE
It hits me!

Well not exactly.
First,
I was disappointed that the blue ribbon
actually dyed very, very pale.

THEN
the epiphany came.

G I V E A W A Y

How about this?
A Valentine Kit
with some extra surprises
thrown in.

Here we go:

Vintage Doilies.

2 sheets of Valentine tissue paper.

Vintage pages torn from
several French books
including a portion
of a Paris map.

More paper.
Handmade paper.
Metallic Red paper.
All Valentine shades from
light pink to dark red.

Vintage valentines
and
vintage looking valentines.
All of the ribbon
that I just
finished dyeing.

 and there'll be more treasures.
If you've stayed with me
this long
here's the
important part.
Simply
respond.
Here.
On this post.
That's it!
I just added this
vintage millinery flower, too.

In fact, I'll be adding more surprises
 all week to the envelope.
It's a BIG envelope, too!!
Reply here.
I'll draw the winner on
Friday, January 21st.

What does this have to do
with Mr. Spectacular Mess' birthday you ask?

It's a few less craft things of mine
that he has to look at, find in his butter,
trip over, step on, move out of the way...
Trust me.
He'll love it.

That is a wonderful giveaway, Kathy! Love all those ribbons and the cute Valentines and things. You are so generous to do this. I feel guilty entering since I entered your giveaway last year and won, but I will throw caution and guilt to the wind and enter. LOL! And if my name comes up, I will do a happy dance. Thanks for letting me play.

XO,

Sheila :-)

It's extremely generous of you to give like this to your husband. The gift of less stuff. Please don't let that idea make it's way to my house...

With that said, count me in! Will the prizes be hand-delivered to my doorstep by you (if I win, of course) like they do with Publisher's Clearing House? If so, I'll need some advance warning so I can change out of my pajamas...
