It's Because Uranus Is In Retrograde

I have no clue what that means.  I do know that if you walk up to someone who's complaining about something or having a bad day and say it with the utmost sincerity you will receive the most stunned reaction you've ever seen.
Works everytime!  AND at least for a while it's true.  Uranus IS in retrograde.  That being said I thought I'd make some tags
with stuff I have laying around the house.

This is called Molly Sue and the Crystal Ball

If you look closely you will see a man's face hovering inside the crystal ball.  This is the man the psychic said would be entering Molly Sue's life.  Soon.  Very soon.  Molly Sue hopes so.  She's tired of surfing on Hot Singles.com.

This is titled Sea.
It really doesn't make a lot of sense.  This is what comes of me doing art too early in the a.m.
Without coffee.

It's my take on an ATC.  I made it on the back of an old playing card.
I hope I don't forget that I did that.
Otherwise my chances of winning at a game of  solitaire
with this deck are really reduced.
It's pretty strange and I sort of went nuts with the gesso.

These are better.  This is a series of three I did.
I call it The Alphabet Tree.
I rather like the way these turned out.

Here are closeups of the three tags.

I actually liberally "borrowed" the idea for these tags from Tim Holtz.

He used Ranger ink to color the tags and then stamped images
with his new line of rubber stamps.

I painted water color paper with paint.
Cut out the tags, and drew on my own tree.
The little birds are cut out of an old children's dictionary.
Inspiration in it's finest form.
Have a great day.
And remember the retrograde thing.  ;o)

As usual, with or without coffee you are so funny! My favorite is the Christmas tag. I love that season.

Oh my gosh....am totally gonna use that statement first opening I get....too funny!!

They call altered playing cards APC's, btw. There's an acronymn for everything!

Love the tags! Borrowing is perfectly acceptable...especially when it inspires you to create :D

Your take on the Tim Holtz tags is cool- actually, all your tags are cool and I can tell you had fun making them.

I'm going to write the retrograde thing on my hand so I'll always know what to say...
